This album has its genesis in a long weekend spent in Big Sur in 2009 - after I finally realized that I now lived less than two hours away from it. These are field recordings, normalized and otherwise untouched. What you hear is very like what you'd hear if you were standing on the spot where it was recorded.

Recorded on site at Point Lobos State Reserve, Carmel River Beach State Park, and Julia Pfeiffer Burns Park.
